From the user’s perspective, the following are qualities of a well-designed list place:
- Displays a single collection of entities or entries that the user needs for their work.
- Has a page title that clearly identifies the collection and any specific view that is in effect.
- Puts the most important columns first, so scrolling is not typically necessary.
- Is accessible from the Department pages, and included in all relevant activity buttons in the navigation pane.
- Includes one or two FactBoxes to give necessary statistics and quick access to related documents.
